Design and Implementation of LoRa-Based Forest Fire Monitoring System

One of the great disasters on earth is forest fires. Attempts to detect disaster events have been made with help monitoring technology. However, problem that sensor less responsive detecting presence fire. Furthermore, sending information about fire incidents throughout cannot use existing communication platform. Therefore, we designed a system using LoRa. This technology based wireless which can transmit data across forest. To fire, Arduino Uno used as microcontroller regulates input from AMG8833 and GPS Ubox 6M. The experiment shows more sensitive in catch range changes between 3 10 meters. In distance range, hotspots were detected 19.25 oC 122.5 when testing node done. developed this study demonstrated nodes gateways could communicate up 500 meters apart signal quality -134 dBm. best LoRa configuration mode for capability Bandwidth 250, Code Rate 4/5, Spread Factor 10.One 10.
